Circuit training with the ball

  • Organisation

    • 2 coordination ladders
    • 4 hurdles
    • 8-12 cones
    • 6 rings
    • 5 poles
    • 4 cones
    • 1 goal

    • 1 ball per player, plus 5 balls at each station for goal shooting

  • Process

Set up the circle as shown in the picture. You can do the circle as a single round, or the players distribute themselves on the positions and run through the exercises after a certain time (e.g. 15 minutes).

    • Station 1: Coordination ladder: pass ball with right and run forward through the ladder with small steps. Play ball in such a way that you can dribble on directly at the end

    • Station 2: Hurdles: Pass ball under hurdles and then jump over. Play the ball in such a way that you can continue dribbling directly at the end.

    • Station 3: tight ball control: between the first two cones: Pick up speed, then slow, then pick up speed again.

    • Station 4: rings: play ball past the rings and hop through the rings with one leg. Play the ball in such a way that you can continue dribbling directly at the end.

    • Station 5: Goal shot. Free shot at the goal. If the ball misses, fetch the ball in a sprint.

    • Station 6: Coordination ladder: Pass the ball with the left hand and run backwards through the ladder. Play the ball in such a way that you can dribble on directly at the end.

    • Station 7: Slalom without ball: Run through the pole slalom at speed without the ball. Retrieve ball afterwards

    • Station 8: Hold up: Hold ball up between the cones to Station 9

    • Station 9: Head ball: Play the ball between the cones with the head up to Station 10

    • Station 10: Slalom with ball: Dribble through the slalom course with the ball.
